Interested in helping out at the school this year. Below are several sign ups that need regular volunteers through out the school year. All volunteers will require school access clearance to volunteer. Learn more about getting access.
Those students who raised a designated level of fundraising for the Bolt have earned the ability to play in a Strom vs. Velsor kickball game. Students will be released from their classrooms to come play on their designated teams and enjoy some Tikiz’s Shaved Ice before or after their game. Volunteers are needed to bring the students from the building to the kickball field, assist during the games, and return the students to their classrooms at the conclusion of the event. If you would like to help, please sign up for one of the volunteer times below. Volunteers should plan on meeting in the office upon arrival.
Do you have an hour to spare? Consider signing up to volunteer in the lunchroom through out the year. Volunteers will assist students open their lunch items. Ensure students get and return bathroom passes when exiting the cafetorium and remind students to make wise decisions.
Got a few minutes to help out in the morning. The PVA Staff will be doing training the first Friday of every month. During this time the school is looking for assistance with arrivals from 7:40am until 8:10am when the staff usually arrives. Parents will help with car line, bus line, cafeteria and front office.
Each month a parent is needed to pickup the Character Counts lunch from the Chick-Fil-A in Marsh landing at 9:30 and bring the sandwiches(85) and cookies to school. No money will be involved with this.
The staff is looking for a few parent helpers to assist with the state mandate health screenings for certain grades. Volunteers are need September 26th, 27th and October 22nd.
