Dear PVA Kindergarten Families,
Our Kindergarten Curriculum Chat will take place this Thursday, September 12th. Your team of fifteen teachers are excited to welcome you to their classrooms! During your time together they will share information with you regarding a typical day as a Kindergarten student, a closer look at our state standards, school district curriculum, and instructional resources to support your students.
It is also my pleasure to introduce the newest members of the Kindergarten team. Joining our existing eleven teachers, will be Ms. Karena Durr, Ms. Anna Ferlaino, Ms. Elaine Roces, and Ms. Messina Straw. We are so fortunate to have these talented and veteran teachers as part of our expanding Kindergarten family.
Personalized letters will go home with students who are moving to new classrooms on Tuesday, September 10th. For those families that will be joining new classrooms, your Curriculum Chat/Meet the Teacher will take place from 6:00-7:15 pm. Your letter will also let you know the classroom location of your Curriculum Chat/Meet the Teacher. We are encouraging families who are starting in new classrooms to attend this event with your student.
For those families who are staying with their current teachers, your Curriculum Chat will take place from 6:00-6:45 pm and you should report to your child's classroom at 6:00 pm. If your student is not starting in a new classroom, we are encouraging attendance for parents/guardians only.
After your classroom visit, please make sure to stop by the Media Center to visit with the Resource teachers and our PTO.
You are welcome to park in the east parking lot (bus loop), west parking lot (car loop), or the bridge over flow parking lot. The bridge will also be open for those traveling by foot, bike, or golf cart.
